Yes, the InsightGO website is accessible via tablets and mobile devices.
Initially, the system has been designed and tested to work with a Chrome browser on a variety of devices. Other browsers may work, but are not fully tested and may result in items not functioning as intended.
Though Google offers BAAs for paid users of its Google Apps platform (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.) Google Chrome, along with other web browsers, is not specifically HIPAA compliant. HIPAA compliance remains up to the user based on configuration. If saved passwords are a concern for your clinic, it is only a few steps to configure Google Chrome to ensure passwords are not saved for a specific website. InsightGO is also protected by multi-factor authentication, and users must verify their identity by entering a PIN number sent to their email when logging in for the first time on a new device.
Our INSIGHT EMR windows-based platform will continue to work and will need to be used for some tasks. Our current intent is to enable therapists to use InsightGO for 90% or more of their typical daily tasks. We will be continue to add more functionality in coming weeks and months.
Although the system is completely backwards compatible, you will need to save your work on the system in which you are working before switching to the other. You should avoid having the same chart open in both platforms at the same time.
Yes, like INSIGHT EMR before it, InsightGO is designed to work seamlessly with all in-place billing processes utilized through INSIGHT Billing.
While the time required to complete an initial evaluation with INSIGHT EMR depends on a user's workflow, features such as logging in, loading a template, and signing off, along with our improved workflow experience, are all designed to work faster with InsightGO.
Yes, the Visit History icon in InsightGO provides instant access to the history of any procedure. In addition, InsightGO users can also reorder procedures within the visit document.
Yes, staff and patient schedules and Chart documentation can be printed from InsightGO.
Yes, all staff members will be able to view, edit, and create new tasks in InsightGO. Tasks in InsightGO are fully integrated with INSIGHT Classic.
Yes, both Physiotec and Keet integations are currently available with InsightGO.
Basic Charting Features
Yes, therapists can arrive appointments in InsightGO.
Alert statuses for authorizations, Plan of Care, etc. will mirror their settings in INSIGHT EMR, and will be displayed through the shield icon in the Info Ribbon.
All the clinical content (topics, templates, and print layouts) that have been customized in INSIGHT EMR will be included within your instance of InsightGO. Clinical Content Management settings must still be utilized in INSIGHT EMR at this time, but this functionality will transition to InsightGO in the future.
