Add a New Discharge Reason to Insight

Use the instructions below to add a new discharge reason to the system.

  1. Log in to Insight Billing.
  2. Go to the Settings menu and select Claims and then Discharge Reasons.
  3. The Code Descriptor Editor displays. Make it point to the DschDest table.
  4. Select Add to add another row to the table.
  5. Enter a new code of up to five characters and a enter a description for the code.
