
View Client Record Changes
The Change Log tab in the Client Editor displays changes that were made to the Personal Information and Case Information tabs of a patient record, as well as appointments made on the Schedule. This allows you to research changes that were made to the patient's demographics, cases, and appointments.

View patient and case history
- Open the Client Editor. Click
on the toolbar, press F9, or on the Edit menu, click Clients.
- With a patient record open, click Change Log or press F9.
If no check boxes are selected, then INSIGHT displays all changes that have been made since record creation to this patient record on the following tabs:
- Personal Information
- Case Information
- Click an entry in the left panel (Area or Label columns). INSIGHT displays all fields that were changed in relation to that entry.
In the example below, you can see that the Payer Mix for the knees case has been changed on two dates by two different people.
- If you want to see the values that were originally entered, then select the Display Initial Entry Values check box.
In the example, you can see what field values were entered when the patient record or case was first created, as well as who created the original record and when the record was created.

View appointment history
- With a patient record open, click Change Log or press F9.
- To show a list of all appointments that have been made for the patient, select the Display Appointment History check box.
Click an appointment in the left panel (Area or Label columns). INSIGHT displays all fields that were changed in relation to that appointment.
In the example below, you can see that the appointment created on 6/25 has been changed on two dates by two different people.
- If you want to see the values that were originally entered, then select the Display Initial Entry Values check box.
In the example, you can see what field values were entered when the appointment was first created, as well as who created the original appointment and when the appointment was created.
